Nara Chain Genesis Announcement
We are excited to announce that Nara Chain has officially completed its genesis launch.
Nara Chain is a new Layer 1 blockchain forked from Solana, inheriting Solana's high-performance architecture while introducing new directions for innovation.
Why Nara
Solana stands out in the blockchain space with its exceptional performance — sub-second block times, extremely low transaction fees, and a parallel execution engine. However, a mature ecosystem also means slower innovation cycles and higher costs for experimentation.
Nara was created to explore new possibilities while building on Solana's technical strengths. We believe a lean, agile chain can experiment and validate new ideas faster.
What Was Accomplished at Genesis
Ecosystem Migration
In the genesis block, we deployed a curated selection of Solana's core ecosystem protocols:
- Token Standards — SPL Token, Token-2022, Associated Token Account
- NFT Ecosystem — Metaplex Metadata, Bubblegum (cNFT), Core
- DeFi Infrastructure — Full Meteora protocol suite (DLMM, DAMM v2, etc.)
- Multisig Tools — Squads v3/v4
This means developers can start building on Nara immediately without waiting for an ecosystem to be built from scratch.
Native Programs
Beyond the migrated ecosystem, we deployed Nara's own on-chain programs:
- Quest — PoMI (Proof of Machine Intelligence) system
- Skill — AI Agent capability registration and invocation
- Domain — On-chain domain name system
- MCP — Multi-Call Protocol
Solana Compatibility
Nara is fully compatible with Solana's toolchain. Your Solana wallet keys work directly on Nara, and @solana/web3.js can connect to Nara's RPC for development.

- Continuous synchronization with the Agave validator client
- Independent improvement proposal process
- Expansion of the PoMI and Skill ecosystems
- NARA airdrop to all SOL holders
